Experienced Sales - Boutique Fitness Studio
About The Position
StretchLab PLEASANTVILLE and White Plains, NY STUDIOS is currently seeking a motivated and conscientious individual to support the continued growth of the studio and customer base. The ideal person will support all in-studio functionality including sales, member retention, external sales efforts, retail, and studio operations via phone, email, and text. StretchLab is the industry leader in offering one-on-one assisted stretching, with a team of experts certified in various fields. The brand is a franchise, and each studio is independently owned and operated. This role is with a growing team that currently has two locations in Westchester County, New York, with a third opening soon.
Requirements
- 1+ years of retail sales experience
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with owner and peers
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and in writing
- Ability to excel in a fast-changing, diverse environment
- Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment
- Solid writing and grammar skills
- Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Professional, punctual, reliable and neat
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public
- Proficiency with computers and studio software
- Ability to learn and effectively utilize ClubReady Point of Service System
Responsibilities
- Support all in-studio functionality
- Member retention
- Assist and support the studio with external sales efforts including grassroots new member initiatives, brand awareness, corporate and private function sales
- Retail sales
- Manage studio operations via phones, email, and text
- Assist with lead generation and studio day-to-day management centralized at the studio's front desk
- Directly coordinate with all vendors, ensure that studio retail/products are stocked with accurate inventory counts
- Independently make decisions related to high-level customer service
- Collect outstanding dues
- Maintain organization of the fitness studio
- Enforce StretchLab policies and procedures
- Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and studio literature is stocked and visible
- Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions
- Assist the studio in marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio
- Any other duties as assigned
