About The Position
Krügel Cobbles Inc. is seeking a Sales Representative specializing in hardscapes and outdoor living solutions. Founded in 1982, Krügel Cobbles has become a leading hardscape contractor in the Chicagoland North Shore area, completing 160-170 projects annually with a team of over 40 professionals. As a family-owned company that has recently undergone a rebrand, we are expanding our market presence while maintaining our reputation for craftsmanship. This growth offers strong earning potential and long-term opportunities for driven sales professionals. The Sales Representative will be the primary point of contact for prospective clients, guiding them from initial consultation through project completion. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to understand and translate client needs into functional outdoor living solutions, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience. This is a base + commission opportunity with overall total compensation based on performance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales experience in a service-based industry required
- Experience working with and selling to high-end clientele is required
- Strong communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to understand and translate client needs
- Self-motivated and organized
- Experience with LMN, Aspire, or a similar software is required
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- Sales experience in construction/landscaping is preferred
Responsibilities
- Meet with prospective clients to understand their outdoor living vision, assess site conditions, and discuss project goals
- Respond promptly to inbound leads and manage customer inquiries with professionalism
- Develop and execute a sales plan to meet individual and team sales targets
- Prepare and present detailed proposals, pricing estimates, and conceptual designs
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all aspects of estimating and proposals
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Collaborate with design and construction teams
- Maintain organized sales pipeline in CRM
- Follow up consistently to close sales
- Ensure a high-quality client experience
- Participate in community and networking events
- Perform other duties as assigned
