About The Position

CONMED is seeking a Sales Representative to add to our highly talented Advanced Surgical sales force in the Inland Empire of California. As a Sales Representative you will bring a high level of energy, drive, perseverance, commitment, and professionalism to achieve new sales and maintain existing business. You will sell innovative technology to the OBGYN, Colorectal, Urology, and General Surgery spaces to positively impact patient outcomes. You will receive extensive hands-on training and ongoing collaboration and development from Field Sales Trainers. You will earn the opportunity to grow and advance within the organization. CONMED is driven to work together with our customers to make healthcare better. This role requires access to customer accounts as a function of the job. Therefore, meeting account requirements regarding vaccinations is required as an essential job function, including the COVID-19 vaccination.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree + 2 years outside sales experience (medical device, B2B, or healthcare sales)
• Candidates without a bachelor’s degree must have 6+ years of outside sales experience (medical device, B2B, or healthcare sales)
• Currently employed as a CONMED Associate Sales Representative
• Ability to travel Approximately 25%
• Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and be able to drive an automobile
• Meeting account requirements regarding vaccinations is required as an essential job function, including the COVID-19 vaccination.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Medical device or surgical sales experience
• Experience in operating room environments
• Knowledge of anatomy, surgical procedures, or clinical workflows
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure clinical environments
• Recently transitioned from Active Military Duty
