About The Position

Join the Mahaska family as part of our Market Sales Representative! Mahaska is looking for a high-energy Sales Representative to generate new business opportunities and secure new vending, coffee, and market accounts. This role is responsible for prospecting, building relationships, presenting solutions, and closing sales to drive company growth. The Sales Representative will focus primarily on developing new business and maintaining a strong sales pipeline. Once a new account is established, it will be transitioned to management for ongoing support and account management. After the handoff, this role maintains limited involvement, providing continued relationship support only when needed. Success in this position is measured by the ability to consistently identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities while maintaining a focus on sales growth and account acquisition. Requirements

  • Previous sales or business development experience preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Competitive drive with a results-oriented mindset
  • Comfort with cold calling, prospecting, and networking
  • Ability to identify customer needs and present effective solutions
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must currently be authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States
