About The Position

Tropical Tile & Marble Distributors is seeking a driven Sales Rep to grow relationships with residential architects and interior designers. This is a relationship-based, design-forward role focused on product specification and project sales.

Requirements

• 1+ years outside sales (tile, stone, building materials, or design industry preferred)
• Strong presentation & communication skills
• Self-starter with solid follow-up and organization
• Valid driver’s license + reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

• Existing architect/designer relationships a plus
• Background in interior design, architecture, or showroom sales
• Experience with CEU presentations or lunch & learns
• Familiarity with residential construction timelines & specifications

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with architects & designers
• Prospect new design firms and studios
• Present tile/stone collections, new launches, and samples
• Conduct in-person visits, lunch & learns, and project follow-ups
• Drive specifications from concept through order
• Coordinate with showroom and operations teams
