Join our team as a Sales Representative in Greenhouse Production, where you'll work with contractors and customers to deliver exceptional service while helping grow our greenhouse and landscape business. Candidates must be available to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime required during peak seasons as needed. Grow with Gertens today!
Requirements
- Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Completed High School Diploma.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel locally to customer and job sites as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Sales experience preferred
- Horticulture, greenhouse, or landscape knowledge is a plus.
- Associate degree in Horticulture, Plant Science or related field preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with contractors and customers by providing outstanding service.
- Prepare quotes, process orders, and coordinate deliveries with operations and dispatch.
- Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs and project requirements.
- Visit customer job sites to support projects and identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain showroom displays and product knowledge.
- Resolve customer questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner.
- Support sales growth through account development, product promotions, and teamwork.
