About The Position

This role is for an Interventional Spine Sales Representative, a field-based position focused on strategically promoting and selling Stryker Interventional Spine products to meet customer needs. The representative will conduct product evaluations in OR and office settings, demonstrating the value of the products. Key aspects of the role include systematically tracking territory progress, communicating achievements with the Regional Manager, and striving to exceed goals. The representative will also solve product problems on-site with clients, educate doctors, nurses, and other staff on proper product use and maintenance, and provide excellent customer service. Requirements

  • 5+ years in an outside sales position (medical device preferred) or Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited University (with 2+ years of med device sales experience preferred)
  • Approximately 20% travel
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive an automobile
  • Medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
  • Coordination of the eye, hand and foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands to include visual and auditory discrimination / memory, reading ability and memory retention
  • Exercise discretion and independence when applying professional expertise
  • Must be able to manage time, projects, stress and conflict
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication
  • Must be able to bring tasks through to completion with minimal supervision
  • Must have the ability to prioritize work and keep detailed and confidential records
  • Must be able to communicate / present to large groups of people
  • Must possess unwavering ethics & integrity in a competitive and demanding work environment
  • Employees and new hires in sales and field roles that require access to customer accounts as a function of the job may be required, depending on customer requirements, to obtain the COVID-19 vaccination as an essential function of their role

Nice To Haves

  • Medical device sales experience (preferred for 5+ years outside sales)
  • 2+ years of med device sales experience (preferred if holding a Bachelor’s Degree)
