About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to oversee our HVAC, plumbing, and electrical divisions for Burke Plumbing & Heating. In this role, you will report directly to the President, collaborating closely with the management and Sales Manager. You will lead and coach our sales team, drive residential and commercial business development, and optimize our estimating and pipeline processes to accelerate company growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, or home services (residential and commercial experience required).
  • 3+ years in a sales management or leadership role.
  • Proficiency with ServiceTitan and modern CRM systems.
  • Proven track record in contract negotiation, bid management, and closing complex deals.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications, construction plans, and system designs.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience preparing estimates, proposals, and bids preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee HVAC, plumbing, and electrical sales.
  • Coordinate equipment and material selections.
  • Coach and train sales personnel.
  • Manage sales personnel.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Lead sales meetings to build a high-performing culture.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Perform annual forecasting and collaborate with leadership to execute goals and profit gain.
  • Achieve KPIs to hit revenue and gross margin targets.
  • Maintain and improve sales processes.
  • Utilize ServiceTitan and CRM systems for pipeline tracking and reporting.
  • Coordinate sales promotions with the Marketing Coordinator.
  • Review plans, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Ensure consistent customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Identify and pursue new construction, renovation, and tenant improvement opportunities by building relationships with GCs, builders, and property managers.
  • Establish referral partnerships and negotiate recurring revenue streams (maintenance agreement memberships).
  • Build relationships with customers, contractors, and business partners.
  • Utilize strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle.
  • Present solution options, pricing, and value propositions to customers.
  • Coordinate equipment and material selections.
  • Close key accounts when necessary.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate job scopes, technical estimates, and professional proposals that meet company margin objectives.
  • Coordinate with project managers and operations teams to ensure seamless project transition and scheduling.
