The Sales Representative contributes to the growth of the organization through sales of new business through construction and/or services sales. This role involves acquiring sales leads for new work, including the installation, service, and support of comprehensive fire protection systems across all disciplines, and selling Summit's services. The position requires both outside and inside sales efforts, soliciting all building and construction types such as new construction, renovations, additions, and retrofits. The Sales Representative will lead the sales process from initial contact/bid invite to contract acquisition, generating new proposals, following up on active proposals, and closing sales. This role also involves attending internal and external meetings, representing the Company's identity, and providing general assistance to Project Managers, the Design Department, and Accounting personnel. The individual must be a self-starter, organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication and follow-through skills.
