About The Position

The Sales Representative will establish relationships with new customers, secure contracts, and achieve sales quotas. This role involves providing solutions to customer business challenges, collaborating with internal departments to create packaging solutions, and maintaining strong customer service. The representative will travel to assigned territories, manage customer accounts, assist with collections, and attend trade shows. This position requires a positive attitude, adaptability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in excess of 40 hours, as business needs arise.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arm’s length, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 20 lbs. frequently 20-35 lbs. occasionally, more than 35 lbs. rarely, over 50 lbs. requires team or mechanical assistance.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time at desk in traditional office environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Experience with an ERP System.
  • Experience with Kiwi.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes relationships with new customers and secures contracts to achieve assigned sales quotas and targets.
  • Qualifies prospects against company criteria.
  • Provides solutions to customers and potential customers about their business challenges.
  • Partners closely with the Sales Manager and General Manager to establish new target accounts.
  • Works with Designers, Customer Service, Production, Shipping, and other internal departments to create packaging solutions.
  • Provides management with regular updates and reports on sales activities.
  • Effectively communicates with Customer Service regarding customer requirements and special needs.
  • Travels throughout the assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders.
  • Assists in collection of delinquent accounts.
  • Delivers price quotes and credit terms and prepares sales contracts.
  • Estimates delivery dates.
  • Tracks stock levels.
  • Coordinates customer training.
  • Supplies new customer data and other sales data into the database.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
  • Attends trade shows.
  • Works in excess of 40 hours as business needs arise.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs any other task or duty deemed necessary by management.
