Position Summary:
The Retail Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales and building strong customer relationships within the retail grocery sector. Reporting to the Sales Manager or designate, this role involves managing customer orders, providing exceptional customer service, and achieving sales targets.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the large format retail grocery industry preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in foodservice or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of the protein category is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process daily orders for key retail customers using internal software, ensuring accurate production, warehouse picking, and delivery.
• Proactively communicate upcoming promotional items to customers, tailoring recommendations to individual needs.
• Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely and accurate deliveries, addressing any special requirements.
• Consistently achieve or exceed sales goals as set by sales and branch management.
• Drive sales growth through upselling and exceptional customer service.
• Resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to optimize operations and address product availability issues.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular visits and effective communication.
• Provide sales support to other team members as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.
