About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a proactive Sales Representative to lead sales and marketing efforts for Ready-Mix Concrete. This role involves strengthening the customer base, managing sales pipelines and order books, and ensuring accurate sales volume forecasts.   • Proven track record of achievement within the RMC industry (2+ years).
  • Experience in project management.
  • Understanding of commercial construction contracts.
  • Previous experience with concrete quality testing and submittals.
  • Strong ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Familiarity with sales analytics tools to assess sales performance, customer data, and market trends.
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
  • Applicants must be residing in and currently authorized to work in the US.
  • Ability to operate a variety of office equipment and computer systems; visual acuity required to read, verify, and enter various data from documents related to the work.
  • Travel within the greater Seattle area.
  • Have a valid State Driver’s license with a clean and insurable driving record and be capable of maintaining a clean and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, production, logistics) to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Provide technical support and product information to customers.
  • Negotiate complex contracts and pricing agreements with customers.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Utilize CRM to monitor performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver high-impact sales presentations and quotes.
  • Address and resolve potential customer issues.
  • Lead and mentor junior sales staff, sharing best practices.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with HM Washington Sales, Operations and Customer Service Managers to shape and execute the company’s strategic plan under the leadership of the Area Manager.
