Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with equivalent experience considered.
  • 5+ years of technical sales / territory management responsibility with preference for power generation experience.
  • Knowledge of market and competition.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills (multi-taking ability).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Willingness to learn additional software and duties as required (Syteline).
  • Regular travel required.
  • Team oriented but able to operate independently.
  • Extremely goal oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to current and potential customers seeking opportunities to apply Arrow power generation products and potentially other products.
  • Compile information required to work independently or with Application Engineers to prepare detailed technical proposals timely and accurately.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to adjust sales strategies and provide forecasting and market insight to management.
  • Prepare and submit monthly forecasts for power product sales using provided CRM, capturing new opportunities, following up on existing and using the defined sales funnel.
  • Work closely with other representatives to cross-sell other product lines through approved channels to market.
  • Negotiate contracts and orders with all levels of distribution.
  • Prepare and submit trip reports to management team.
  • Provide input for product improvements and new product development.
  • Assist in set up, tear down, and product promotion during assigned trade shows.
  • Assist in parts sales when appropriate.
  • Other duties as required
