About The Position

Ravago, a global leader in plastics, is North America's leading distributor of commodity and engineering plastics. We are seeking a motivated and ambitious professional to join our rapidly growing organization in a commercial role as a Sales Representative (Plastics Sales). This is an opportunity to join a private, family-run organization with a global footprint. The 2026 Commercial Development Program (CDP) class will include trainees representing our primary plastics distribution business entities: Entec, Bamberger Amco Polymers (BAP), Channel Prime Alliance (CPA), Muehlstein, and M Holland. The role of Sales Trainee involves participating in an industry-leading Commercial Development Program (CDP) sales training curriculum, with the ultimate goal of becoming a professional salesperson assigned to a predetermined sales territory. This role requires temporary relocation to Orlando, Florida, for the duration of the training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University
  • Work Ethic / Maturity / Professionalism / Positive Attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess ability to work with diverse populations
  • Ability to travel regularly for rotational training and throughout the United States for other training.
  • Problem Solving and Organizational Skills

Responsibilities

  • Attend vendor plant tours for training.
  • Participate in regional meetings and industry trade shows.
  • Attend internal department meetings and functions.
  • Attend Supplier visits and various department training seminars.
  • Shadow experienced sellers monthly on customer sales calls to learn best practices.
  • Complete field-based experiences at manufacturing plants, distribution facilities, and during supplier visits.
  • Travel 20% of the time completing field-based experiences.
  • Participate in one-on-one training and development sessions with the Regional Commercial Director (RCD) and Commercial Development Director.
  • Attend internal department meetings and functions, including supplier and customer visits, and various department training seminars.
