Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree – preferably in Business Administration or Engineering
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Communication: Communicate clearly and articulately

  • Negotiation: Ability to negotiate both persuasively and effectively in a tactful manner so as to gain customers’ acceptance

Responsibilities

  • Identifies opportunities through key customer contacts and industry information.
  • Locates sources for sale of company products and services.
  • Prepares documentation for prospective and current customers and ensures it is communicated appropriately.
  • Understands financial goals and expectations of company, and meets and/or exceeds assigned sales and customer objectives.
  • Plans, develops and implements NI sales strategies to lead negotiations that are consistent with internal strategy while, at the same time, reflective of customer requirements and competitive offerings.
  • Assembles and presents information for NI offerings.
  • Identifies and pursues potential customers to drive and support strategic growth objectives.
  • Analyzes customer needs and secures desirable business through application of company products and services.
  • Supports Existing Installations Sales in obtaining maintenance agreements and renewal of existing agreements through offering modernization solutions.
  • Sources, analyzes, communicates and applies competitive data for competitive advantage to company, and provides recommendations for market target pricing.
  • Develops sales proposals for NI and prepares estimates for the sale of company products and services.
  • Assures full utilization of systems and follows best demonstrated practices (BDP).
  • Prepares and maintains required customer information and files in accordance with established procedures.
  • Works in cooperation with Contract Control on sales contract agreements.
  • Manages accounts receivable for assigned accounts, and expedites final payment on new installation/modernization projects when the elevator is completed.
  • Participates in company professional development programs to enhance working knowledge of elevator company products, services and procedures.
  • Works in cooperation with Fulfillment Team to ensure proper project management, e.g. complete booking papers and design details, upload project data, material ordering.
  • Builds and maintains favorable client relationships.
  • Ensures customer needs or enquiries are met in a prompt, professional manner through effective communications, and follows customer complaints to satisfactory resolution.
  • Interprets customer concerns and mobilizes the necessary internal resources in such a way that customer satisfaction is assured while cost and employee resources disruption is minimized.
  • Assists architects and/or developers with application of company products through layout data and specifications.
