At our city locations, each agent handles the full rental journey, from preparing the rental agreement at the counter to inspecting the vehicle at check-out and return. Requirements

Exceptional interpersonal, customer service and relationship-building skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task
Ability to manage stressful or unusual situations while maintaining good customer service
Ability to learn about the customer's rental needs and upgrade them to a more premium vehicle and additional services that will enhance their experience
Familiarity with video inspection processes and basic photography skills for capturing pre-existing conditions
Ability to manage traffic flow efficiently
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year of customer service or sales experience
Must be at least 18 and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to follow defined service and sales processes
Must be willing to wear company uniforms
Ability to communicate in English

Nice To Haves

Experience meeting sales quotas or working in highly commissioned positions preferred
Speaking other languages, including Spanish, is a plus

Responsibilities

Prepare the rental agreement while advising on and up-selling vehicles and optional extras according to the customer's needs and wants
Provide excellent customer service in all customer contact situations
Meet all sales and service standards
Assist customers with inquiries about car features and conditions
Inform customers of return policies (e.g., No Smoking, No Pet Hair, Gas)
Ensure high-quality video check-out processes
Record pre-existing conditions by capturing additional photos
Greet customers dropping off rental cars with a warm smile
Secure vehicle keys, confirm documentation and perform necessary checks
Perform video inspections for damage and remind customers to check for personal belongings
Identify and record lost items found in vehicles with detailed information
Thoroughly review cars for damage upon return, and open and file claims promptly
Park units requiring service in designated areas and inform the Service Supervisor
Control traffic flow as a guide for incoming and outgoing rental cars
Assist the branch with the return and turnaround of vehicles
Complete administrative tasks, including daily lists to assist the office
Perform other job duties as assigned to meet business needs
