About The Position

We are looking for a Sales Representative in Group Benefits. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the broker community to sell group employee benefit products (life, dental, disability, vision, critical illness) throughout Central California which includes but is not limited to Bakersfield, Westlake, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Valencia/Simi Valley. We also have an outstanding service team to partner with you and prioritize your brokers' and client's needs! This position is also a phenomenal way to advance your career. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 8 years of equivalent experience required.
  • 2+ years related sales experience (group life, disability, dental, vision preferred).
  • Must have appropriate Life & Health licensing.
  • Excellent planning/interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, presentation, listening, oral and written communication skills required.
  • Must have time management and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced math skills are necessary, related to graphs, symbols, equations, etc.
  • Must be accurate and detail oriented.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality is crucial.
  • Travel required (up to 50%) including overnight stays.
