Requirements

  • 1+ years in sales with a track record of meeting KPIs
  • B2C inside sales experience preferred
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with Google Apps and CRM/dialing systems
  • Professional home office with high-speed internet
  • Pre-existing right-to-work status required (Onward Climate does not provide sponsorship or relocation assistance)
  • Natural phone presence and commitment to active listening
  • Ability to navigate challenging conversations and handle objections with professional grace
  • Genuinely motivated by environmental sustainability
  • Talent for building product value and connecting it to a customer's personal values to drive sales

Responsibilities

  • Enroll utility customers into energy programs through high-volume outbound calls.
  • Meet sales performance KPIs with a consistent average of 55+ dials per hour and steady growth in sales conversion rates.
  • Meet or exceed specified outreach hours, call quality, and professionalism performance measures.
  • Confidently address customer concerns and overcome objections by connecting program benefits to customer needs to drive enrollments.
  • Maintain a positive, professional presence throughout every interaction in a high-call-volume environment.
  • Engage in a culture of continuous improvement through robust paid training to master our programs while sharpening your professional sales and communication skills.

  • Competitive Pay: On target earnings of $68-$70k annually earned through $23-$24/hr starting base pay (DOE/Location) plus a monthly bonus structure with high earning potential (top Sales Representatives earn over $80k)
