About The Position

Join MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in the manufacturing of construction chemicals and building materials, including adhesives, sealants, and specialty products used in flooring, tile, and concrete restoration. We’re looking for a Sales Representative – Consumer Sales to help drive product growth through our retail sales channels. This role blends hands-on product knowledge with customer support, training, and in-store sales activity. It’s a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years' experience in sales of commercial products.
  • Candidate must reside in/near the following areas: Indianapolis, IN, Cincinnati, OH or Columbus, OH
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint within a Windows environment
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Ability to travel frequently.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong knowledge of flooring installation materials preferred.
  • associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Knowledge 365 or Dynamics AX is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve territory sales goals through demos, customer engagement, and solution-based selling
  • Conduct compelling presentations and proposals for new and existing retail customers
  • Partner with retail store staff and internal reps to support product training and drive awareness
  • Lead in-store product demos, jobsite visits, and customer training sessions
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through outreach and market research
  • Gather and share market insights, competitor activity, and new product ideas
  • Support jobsite inspections and communicate potential claims with follow-up reporting
  • Ensure all account activity, product materials, and communications are kept up to date
  • Follow company safety standards, policies, and procedures in daily work
  • Other duties as assigned.
