About The Position

We operate in the DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia area and are seeking a Junior Sales Associate to help grow our business and promote critical fire and life safety solutions for commercial kitchens. Requirements

  • Strong interest in sales and relationship-building
  • A passion for customer service and helping businesses succeed
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Self-motivated and organized, with strong time management abilities
  • Willingness to work in varied environments
  • Comfortable working at heights, including rooftops
  • Ability to lift over 40 pounds
  • Must be able to safely climb ladders as part of site visits and inspections
  • Selling: 2 years (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Sales or customer service experience (especially B2B or in foodservice/hospitality)
  • Familiarity with safety services or compliance is a plus
  • Certifications or education in business, safety, or a related field are helpful but not required

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Build relationships with local businesses, especially in the foodservice and hospitality industry.
  • Assist in conducting on-site visits to assess needs and introduce Kitchen Guard’s safety services.
  • Present and explain services to potential customers through virtual and in-person meetings.
  • Help prepare proposals and follow up with leads.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and customer needs.
