About The Position

This is an entry-level position at Crown Equipment Corporation, a leading lift truck manufacturer. The primary objective is to develop into a commissioned sales role such as Account Representative, Aftermarket Sales Representative, or Account Manager. The role involves selling select products within a geographical territory and/or assigned accounts, potentially working in a team to assist with territory management and communication. The position requires participation in corporate and local campaigns, making sales calls to qualify prospects via in-person and telephone interactions, and generating leads. It also involves information gathering, tracking, and follow-up of leads and inquiries. Training activities will occur locally, in the field, and occasionally at the corporate headquarters in New Bremen, Ohio. Collaboration with various branch departments is also expected.

Requirements

  • Less than 2 years related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demos.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not provided.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability and willingness to work outside normal business hours to prepare for sales activities

Responsibilities
