About The Position

Flood Rescue is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for a full-time position in Oklahoma City. This role involves providing solutions to homeowners in their time of need by building trust, showing empathy, and explaining Flood Rescue’s capabilities. The position does not involve cold calling or door-to-door sales; instead, it utilizes direct leads from homeowners. A customer service team pre-screens, pre-qualifies, and sets up appointments. The company offers a three-week intensive training program combining classroom, role-play, and field training to prepare new hires for their careers in less than 30 days. As an Outside Sales Consultant, you will determine the scope of work, evaluate the nature of loss, prepare proposed job scopes using company-provided technology, and coach homeowners through payment options, including working with insurance carriers. You will also begin the drying process and set homeowner expectations for subsequent work, communicate job status with all relevant parties, and process all documentation in a timely manner.

Requirements

Highly motivated, have a strong work ethic and enjoy the selling process (with 3+ years of outside selling experience)
Able to build rapport easily and establish trust, leading to lasting customer relationships
Strong communications skills – interpersonal, written, presenting
Able to effectively present information to customers one-on-one and in small groups
Comfortable working outside and in confined spaces like crawl spaces and attics
Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices (i.e. tablets) and documenting details of a job using electronic devices
Valid driver’s license
Successfully clear a background/drug test
Must be able to work overtime as needed, some holidays, and weather-related surge events

Responsibilities

Provide solutions to homeowners in their time of need by quickly building trust, showing empathy, and explaining Flood Rescue’s capabilities
Evaluate nature of loss and prepare proposed job scope using moisture meters and other company-provided technology
Prepare proposed engagement for homeowner, secure work authorization, and coach homeowner through payment options (including Flood Rescue’s experience working with all major insurance carriers) while onsite
Stabilize moisture content of affected areas by beginning the drying process and setting homeowner expectations for subsequent work
Communicate job status with customers, company management, and insurance carriers
Process all documentation and ensure it is completed in a timely manner
