About The Position

National Pride Equipment and Car Wash Superstore is seeking an energetic Sales Rep to assist new and existing customers with product knowledge and sales of car wash equipment and related goods. The role involves recommending products and alternatives, discussing pricing and lead times for non-stock items, processing orders, and coordinating with purchasing and accounting to complete transactions. The Sales Rep also participates in website chat and works with the Sales Manager to prospect and increase sales. The position is based at National Pride Equipment and Car Wash Superstore in Mansfield, Ohio, and is full time, day shift, with no travel. The listed pay is $26.44 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or related equivalent.
• Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience in Parts Department operations is preferred.
• Prior related office experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and assist customers with product needs.
• Call prospects and former customers to generate new and return sales.
• Make cold calls to potential customers.
• Process orders promptly through phone, text, email, fax, and website.
• Monitor open orders to ensure products are shipped.
• Participate in online chat to answer customer questions and promote sales.
• Work with the Purchasing Agent on non-stock items.
• Provide customers with details about non-stock shipments, including delivery method and arrival time.
• Work with accounting to ensure credit card information is obtained or that customer accounts are in good financial standing.
• Help customers resolve order errors, warranty issues, and freight damage from start to finish.
• Share knowledge with other team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
