About The Position

MARSHALLTOWN, the leading manufacturer of quality construction tools and equipment for professionals and homeowners since 1890, is expanding and is currently seeking a qualified candidate for a Direct Sales Representative position for the State of Florida. The successful candidate will present our product lines to distributors and retailers throughout Florida to capture a larger segment of the marketplace. We are looking for a high-energy person who can produce results and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment. Familiarity with construction tools, the construction industry, and building products is highly preferred.

Requirements

Prior experience in outside sales, territory sales, manufacturer's representation, or a related sales role.
Knowledge of the construction industry, construction tools, and building products highly preferred.
Familiarity with the construction market, including contractors, distributors, dealers, and end users.
Demonstrated ability to grow sales and achieve results in a fast-paced sales environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask effectively.
Proficiency in using technology and sales tools, including CRM systems, Microsoft Office applications, tablets, mobile devices, and sales reporting platforms.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
High-energy, results-driven approach with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Grow sales and market share throughout the assigned territory of Florida.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, including distributors and retailers.
Present and promote MARSHALLTOWN product lines to distributors and retailers.
Build and merchandise store displays and product sets to increase product visibility and sales.
Identify opportunities to expand market presence and capture additional market share in an evolving marketplace.
Manage territory activities, customer relationships, and multiple priorities effectively.
Utilize CRM systems, Microsoft Office applications, tablets, mobile devices, and sales reporting platforms to support sales activities and track performance.
