About The Position

Balkan Beverage is a family-owned premium beverage distributor serving 48 counties in New York State. The Sales Relief role supports account-level execution and cost-effective distribution of company products. The position aims to improve market share, distribution, account relationships, product shelf position, and case sales per stop. Working as a sales assistant to Area Managers and Retail Sales Consultants, the employee develops relationships with retailers and promotes a positive image of the company.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Must have access to a motor vehicle capable of transporting point-of-sale materials during working hours and be able to travel to multiple work locations as directed.
Must complete all Red Bull Wing Tips training.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to read labels and understand various coding systems.
Must be able to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear; occasionally climb or balance.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 250 pounds and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Call on assigned accounts according to the schedule approved by the District Field Supervisor.
Cover vacations and personal days in the assigned team’s area.
Provide coverage during holiday weeks in the assigned team’s area.
Sell all brands, packages, and promotions offered by the company.
Collect accounts receivable within designated accounts according to company policy.
Follow sales standards in the sales manual, including point-of-sale practices and product rotation.
Attend sales functions, including meetings and promotions.
Investigate and resolve customer problems involving sales and deliveries.
Merchandise customer accounts, including product rotation, shelf replenishment, display setup, and point-of-sale setup.
