About The Position

Sonar is seeking a Sales Recruiter for its Americas region, specifically based at the Austin, TX headquarters. This role is crucial for building the company's revenue engine by identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. The recruiter will act as the local Talent expert and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Revenue leaders in a high-velocity environment. The position emphasizes high-velocity execution, strategic sourcing, stakeholder management, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. Sonar is a leader in AI code verification and governance, experiencing fast-paced growth and profitability, and is building the backbone of the AI software revolution.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, with the majority spent in-house.
  • Proven background in recruitment.
  • Strong understanding of how to navigate the internal recruiting world.
  • Solid grasp of the GTM (Go-To-Market) landscape.
  • Understanding of how Sales people operate and what motivates them.
  • Revenue Fluency: understanding of quotas, territories, and what constitutes a top performer (e.g., "top 1%" AE or Sales Engineer).
  • Ability to push back on hiring managers when necessary and provide expert guidance on the talent landscape.
  • Agility to pivot priorities as the business evolves.
  • Ability to maintain a cool head under pressure.
  • Must be genuinely based in the location the role is posted (Austin, TX).

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting processes with urgency to meet aggressive hiring targets without sacrificing quality.
  • Identify, attract, and hire top-tier talent across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
  • Act as a strategic partner to Sales Directors, VPs, and Revenue leadership.
  • Consult on market trends, calibrate profiles, and manage expectations through clear, data-driven communication.
  • Leverage creative sourcing channels and engage passive candidates.
  • Craft compelling narratives to attract candidates and ensure a seamless, professional, and high-energy interview journey.
  • Serve as the local Talent expert and SME for Revenue leaders in the Austin hub.
