TRIO Supply Chain Solutions is a global leader in electronic component brokerage, specializing in sourcing hard-to-find semiconductors, memory, and enterprise IT hardware for OEMs, contract manufacturers, and IT organizations worldwide. Our Newport Beach team plays a critical role in supporting the trading and operations department, ensuring seamless order fulfillment and inventory management. This position is ideal for professionals passionate about supply chain operations and sales administration within the electronics and IT hardware sector. You will have a direct impact on our ability to deliver timely solutions to customers, maintain inventory accuracy, and support the growth of our proprietary AI-powered sourcing technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2–5 years of experience in purchasing administration, sales operations, or order management
  • Professional experience in electronic component distribution, IT hardware, or supply chain services
  • Experience using Acctivate ERP or similar systems for order entry and inventory management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, filters/sorts, basic formulas, and Power Query)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook and Teams)
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to start work between 6–9am for an 8-hour on-site workday

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with RMA/returns processing and inventory reclassification
  • Familiarity with electronic component part numbering and sourcing tools (BrokerBin, IC Source, or NetComponents)
  • Comfort using AI-powered tools and modern SaaS platforms
  • Exposure to international trade logistics and export compliance basics

Responsibilities

  • Processing rejection notices to RMA for parts that fail inspection at third-party test houses
  • Researching and identifying inventory to backfill test failures/RTVs for advance replacement fulfillment
  • Managing batch inventory reclassification requests in the ERP system
  • Releasing inventory from hold/COMP status to Resell upon trader approval
  • Entering Trade Sales Orders (TSOs) into the ERP system accurately and on time
  • Allocating serial numbers and lot codes against TSOs to maintain inventory traceability
  • Reviewing the internal open order book daily to confirm fulfillment and current dates
  • Following up with buyers on outstanding purchase orders, delivery confirmations, and schedule updates
  • Preparing TSOs and Trade Purchase Orders (TPOs) for management review and approval
  • Supporting buy plan execution by gathering quotes, updating pricing, and coordinating with procurement
  • Monitoring open requirements and flagging at-risk line items to traders
  • Publishing and maintaining the backorder report and cleaning up fulfilled/cancelled lines
  • Auditing trading notes to ensure order activity is documented
