About The Position

As a Sales Prospector at TVH Parts Co, you will be instrumental in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities to expand our customer base and drive nationwide sales growth. In this role, you won’t just find the leads—you will also play a key part in welcoming them by assisting with client onboarding meetings and presentations to ensure a seamless kickoff for new accounts.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales prospecting, lead generation, or outbound sales—experience within the industrial parts, material handling, or equipment industry is a major plus.
  • Comfortable assisting with client meetings and delivering clear, professional presentations to new accounts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident, persuasive, and professional telephone manner.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and modern sales prospecting tools.
  • Strong analytical abilities to effectively research and qualify national target accounts.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and resilient, with the ability to handle rejection professionally and maintain a positive attitude.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

  • Experience within the industrial parts, material handling, or equipment industry is a major plus.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize various prospecting tools and techniques, including cold calling, email outreach, social media, and professional networking, to generate new business opportunities across the USA.
  • Initiate new account setups and assist with client onboarding meetings and presentations to ensure a smooth transition for new customers.
  • Conduct market research to identify high-potential leads and target accounts within defined industries nationwide.
  • Thoroughly qualify leads by understanding their unique needs, pain points, and decision-making processes.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date CRM database with accurate lead information, interactions, and follow-up activities.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to seamlessly transition qualified leads and provide feedback to marketing on lead quality and market trends.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of TVH Parts Co’s products, services, and value propositions.
  • Track and report on prospecting activities, conversion rates, and key performance indicators.
  • Other duties as assigned.
