About The Position

An exciting Sales Promotion Coordinator opportunity has opened in our Edmonton office and we’re looking for a talented individual to join our sales team, where you will have a chance to innovate, grow, and be part of a very successful team. Reporting to the Retail Sales Manager, Local Sales, and working with the Corus Edmonton Sales Team, the successful candidate will help expand our retail client base and maximize our local sales revenue for Corus. This is a bargaining unit position of Sales Promotion Coordinator (Edm) – Group E.

Requirements

• Related post-secondary degree or diploma, sales and marketing experience.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in advertising, sales media, marketing or television
• Marketing and/or Journalism degree or equivalent
• Must have related and proven experience in client relationships
• Attention to detail
• Exceptional creative ability
• Demonstrated writing talent
• Advanced computer skills
• Good interpersonal communication and presentation skills

Nice To Haves

• Radio and/or television industry would be considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Development of sales promotion opportunities
• Execution of Promotional Activities (contests, events) and Sponsorships
• Communicating, Writing and Presenting Sales Concepts
• Recognized as experienced team member, providing guidance to more junior colleagues
