About The Position

Star Interior Resources, a leader in luxury design and flooring, is seeking a Flooring Sales Project Manager. This role involves assisting in all phases of flooring projects from initiation to successful completion, including final billing and payment. The Sales Project Manager will serve as a key communication link between sales executives, customers, vendors, installation subcontractors, installation supervisors, and the accounting department. Additionally, this role will be responsible for building their own book of business and selling flooring products. Star Interior Resources is part of the Star Companies, a 4th generation, family-owned provider of luxury home amenities with service locations in TX and AZ.

Requirements

High school diploma required
Some college preferred
Understanding of sales processes
1-2 years of Commission Based sales experience
Knowledge of flooring products including carpet, tile, laminate, wood, LVP
Ability to learn and use a variety of software including MS Office, project management tools and CRM
1-2 years Construction Management experience
Experience overseeing large customer projects end-to-end
Strong Communication skills: Professional and able to communicate with all levels of staff and outside resources
Self-Starter: Motivated, organized, and proactive
Problem Solver: Creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Assist in all phases of each flooring project until successful completion and final billing and payment in full of the project.
Serve as a communications link between the Sales Executive, customer, vendors, installation subcontractors, installation supervisors and the accounting department.
Build their own book of business and sell flooring products.
