About The Position

Big Sandy Superstore is seeking a sales-driven Retail Sales Professional to help customers select appliances, electronics, furniture, mattresses, and home décor. The role focuses on assisting guests in making their house a home and delivering the Superstore Retail Experience. A sign-on bonus of approximately $1,000 is offered when sales expectations are met during the first six months.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong listening ability.
• High energy, personable approach and a sales focus.
• Experience in a customer satisfaction environment.
• Availability to work a retail schedule.
• Prior experience using Windows-based computer programs.
• Basic reading and comprehension skills.
• Basic numerical reasoning skills.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately, neatly, and efficiently.
• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, and reach regularly.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 15 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Previous demonstrated experience in a customer satisfaction environment is preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities
