About The Position

Responsible for developing new business as well as maintaining business with existing clientele. This position involves inside and outside sales functions. Services for open-hole, cased-hole logging, perforating, tubing conveyed perforating, and pipe recovery services, serving as the primary liaison between the client and Horizontal operations at all times, including pre-job planning, in progress assistance, and post-job follow up. This person must assess complex information and provide solutions that add value to Horizontal and the client for a wide range of problems in the wireline business. All jobs associated with the Company will be executed safely and per all regulatory and Horizontal specific Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience
  • Knowledge of wireline services offered
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Previous sales experience required
  • Computer proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Commitment to customer service and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Thorough understanding of customer requirements and market conditions
  • Comprehensive knowledge of products/systems
  • Good business acumen
  • Negotiating skills
  • High School/GED
  • Ability to write reports and effectively communicate with peers, subordinates, supervisors, and customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Possession of or ability to obtain a valid state driver's license required at HWS
  • Routinely lift and move up to 10 pounds
  • Sit, speak or listen actively for extended periods
  • Possess full use of both hands to feel or manipulate objects, tools, or controls
  • Perform an extended reach with arms to manipulate objects, tools, or controls
  • Walk short distances, sometimes over uneven terrain
  • Perform manual work requiring periods of extensive physical exertion, sometimes under extreme weather conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Undergraduate degree in geology or engineering preferred.
