About The Position

The Sales Porter is responsible for greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and courteous manner, assisting them promptly and professionally. This role involves preparing vehicles for customers, managing vehicle movement within the dealership, and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the sales lot and work areas. The Sales Porter also performs clerical tasks, reports safety concerns, and ensures compliance with driving regulations.

High School graduate or equivalent
18 years or older required

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome customers in a genuinely friendly and courteous manner.
Assist all customers promptly and professionally.
Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel cover, and floor mats in vehicles as necessary.
Identify the sales representative with whom the customer has an appointment and notify that sales representative.
Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the parking lot.
Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when their bill is paid or as directed by sales.
Moves and works with vehicles to maintain vehicle display and support vehicle sales activities.
Maintain the parking lot in a neat and organized manner.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform various clerical tasks as assigned by management.
Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its employees or customers.
Maintain a valid local area driver’s license and immediately inform management of any changes in its status.
Other duties as assigned.
