About The Position

Responsible for moving and cleaning vehicles. The Porter will perform various tasks and errands for the dealership. This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include keeping the car lot clean and orderly, running various errands for the dealership, maintaining CSI at or above Company standards, maintaining an organized, clean and safe work area, participating in required training, accurately recording all hours worked in the company timekeeping system, following Safeguards rules and regulations, demonstrating the Company’s Core Values, and complying with Company policies and procedures. The employee must also observe all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

GED or High School Diploma
Automotive Field of Study/Work Experience
Up to 3 years of work experience
Valid Driver’s License
Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system.
Ability to understand and follow instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Must be able to lift up to (50) pounds.
Work includes frequent movement around the dealership facilities and the outdoor car lot and movement in and out of cars.
The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and sit.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations.
