About The Position

The Honest Company is seeking a Sales Planning & Reporting Analyst to develop, implement, and administer sales analytics. This role involves collaborating with internal and external cross-functional partners to achieve company goals. The analyst will be a key member of the Sales team, supporting Sales Operations, Sales Planning, and Field Sales, while also working with other departments to meet strategic and operational objectives. The ideal candidate is curious, optimistic, consumer-focused, analytical, entrepreneurial, scrappy, flexible, and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of analytical and business experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Google Docs
  • Experience with Metabase, Power BI, Upclear Blue Planner, Syndigo, JD Edwards, or equivalent systems
  • Strong analytical skills and a creative approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship management skills

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Trade Management System (Upclear Blue Planner) super user and report owner.
  • Deliver data-driven insights and customized reporting to inform trade investment decisions.
  • Utilize PowerPoint, Excel, Metabase, and Power BI, along with Upclear data, to present actionable insights to the sales trade and planning team to aid in achieving yearly goals.
  • Support the sales team and the organization with training and assistance on updates released in the trade management tool.
  • Collaborate with sales, IT, and Upclear to resolve identified issues, updates, or process challenges.
  • Identify and present process changes by leveraging data analytics.
  • Onboard and keep the sales team updated on all reports they receive or use (Hubble, Metabase).
  • Provide Customer Item Setup support, including WERC’s, Syndigo GDSN, IXONE, and Top 3 Customer portal updates as needed.
  • Co-lead as Project Analyst for the New Customer Launch & Setup process.
  • Support the sales team with SKU discontinuation and transition communications.
  • Lead the organization of the sales team's Box folder and Retail Spotlight Slack channel.
  • Act as backup for the Pricing & Trade Analyst for critical daily duties only.
