About The Position
The JM Family College Internship Program provides college students with meaningful work experiences connected to their programs of study. Interns contribute to their teams, learn about JM Family’s companies and culture, and develop skills through learning opportunities and networking events. The Summer Internship Program runs from May 24, 2027, through July 30, 2027. The ideal candidate is available to work full-time during the program. The Sales Planning Intern will support Southeast Toyota business initiatives through reporting, analysis, and presentation development. The internship offers hands-on experience, opportunities to strengthen business acumen and collaborate across the organization, and the chance to contribute to data-driven decision-making. Interns will learn about JM Family’s core values: Consideration, Cooperation, Communication, Innovation, and Accountability.
Requirements
- Must be able to work full-time during the Summer Internship Program, from May 24, 2027, through July 30, 2027, and have flexibility to work flexible hours.
- Actively enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, or other degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university, with at least one semester of coursework completed.
- Field of study in a relevant area; examples include Business, Finance, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build cross-functional relationships, collaborate effectively, and work independently.

Responsibilities
- Update recurring reports and develop ad hoc analyses to support business needs and decision-making.
- Prepare clear, professional PowerPoint presentations for Southeast Toyota leadership and dealer meetings.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate reporting processes to improve team efficiency.
- Use company-approved AI tools, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI to support reporting, analysis, and presentation development.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across organizational levels to support departmental initiatives.
