About The Position

The Outreach Coordinator (Inside Sales) is a key driver of Smile America Partners' growth strategy, responsible for proactively engaging schools and school districts across our 20-state service area. Operating from our Farmington Hills corporate office, this individual will manage a high-volume outbound sales cadence — calling school administrators, sending targeted email campaigns, and booking service appointments — to expand our school-based dental program footprint. This position reports directly to the Inside Sales Manager.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of demonstrated inside sales experience in a B2B or high-volume outbound sales environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales activity metrics including daily call and email quotas.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to connect quickly with school administrators and decision-makers.
  • Organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage a high-activity daily schedule independently.
  • Comfort with rejection and persistence in outbound prospecting; resilient and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., ACT, SalesForce.com, Dynamics, or similar) for pipeline tracking, activity logging, and reporting.
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered sales tools for messaging optimization, email personalization, or call preparation (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude AI, or similar).
  • Background selling to educational institutions, school districts, or public sector organizations.
  • Familiarity with healthcare, dental, or wellness-related services a plus.
  • 3+ years of inside sales experience selling healthcare, dental, or school-based services strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience calling on schools or school administrators is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum of 3 years of directly related job experience accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain detailed, accurate records of all outreach activity, opportunities, and pipeline status in the company CRM system.
  • Utilize AI-assisted sales messaging tools to personalize outreach at scale and improve email and call effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Inside Sales Manager to refine scripts, messaging strategies, and outreach sequencing.
  • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs for call volume, email volume, scheduled appointments, and schools enrolled.
  • Develop and maintain strong working knowledge of Smile America Partners' programs, service offerings, and school district partnerships.
  • Participate in team sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews on a regular basis.
  • Provide market feedback to management on competitive landscape, school responses, and objections encountered in the field.
