About The Position

Basata is seeking a highly organized and versatile professional to serve as a Sales Operations Specialist. This role will be instrumental in driving sales enablement and operations from the ground up. The specialist will be responsible for translating technical clinical workflows into compelling sales narratives, building essential processes and materials for the sales team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the sales function. Key aspects of the role include scaling early successes into repeatable playbooks and empowering the sales team to navigate complex sales environments.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in sales enablement within healthcare or SaaS.
  • A builder's mindset focused on creating and refining processes that advance deals.
  • Proven ability to manage the operational aspects of the sales cycle with precision, including contract tracking, proposal preparation, pipeline reporting, and event coordination.
  • Strong comfort with CRM platforms and collaborative tools.
  • Ability to use data to track metrics, optimize workflows, and identify areas for sales cycle improvement.
  • Demonstrated history of converting intricate, manual sales operations into elegant, automated systems.
  • Thrives on replacing administrative friction with high-efficiency digital workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize the sales pipeline by tracking leads, managing reports, and identifying deal bottlenecks.
  • Maintain a clear, data-driven view of the customer landscape and competitive environment.
  • Track contracts, proposals, and deadlines to ensure deals progress.
  • Build and refine repeatable sales processes to clear pipeline bottlenecks and support team scalability.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and client-facing documents.
  • Manage complex sales workflows and develop compelling sales messages for clinicians, IT leaders, and practice administrators.
  • Maintain sales enablement materials such as Battle Cards, one-pagers, and competitive intelligence briefs.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for prospects and clients, handling correspondence professionally.
  • Coordinate product demonstrations, proposal meetings, contract creation, and follow-up touchpoints.
  • Manage communication across clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Support client onboarding and ensure a smooth handoff from sales to implementation.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships and follow up on requested materials.
  • Manage and maintain CRM documentation to support sales processes and deal traction.
  • Create "smart" enablement assets, including dynamic templates and automated follow-up sequences.
  • Maintain a pristine CRM environment by building automated validation rules and robust syncs between sales tools and CRM.
