The Sales Operations Specialist role is responsible for assisting with sales orders and supporting Pacific Time hours. This role will support a primary territory but may also be asked to support another area anywhere in the US. The specialist will work with Sales to help with Opportunity management in SalesForce to keep info updated for forecasting requirements that roll up to executive management on a weekly basis. They will review weekly SalesForce reports to ensure supported territory deals are updated and assist Sales/Pre-sales in supporting the use of SalesForce reports. The role involves actively working with Sales Support – Business Operations, to ensure all required documents are compiled for order initiation. Responsibilities include working in OEM/Vendor/Disti tools/systems to complete registrations for quotes/deals to verify costs, and assisting Sales in uploading Vendor SKU’s/pricing into SalesForce for quoting. Frequent interaction with sales, presales, finance, and service delivery is expected. A working understanding of the Order Process is required, ensuring quotes are built with all content captured and orders are submitted in a timely manner. Other responsibilities may be assigned.
