About The Position

The Sales and Operations CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, & Replenishment) Planner will be responsible for analyzing Customer Sales and Inventory data for a defined group of customers. Translating that data into business insights and taking meaningful action with internal and external stakeholders to support sales/distribution or continuous improvement opportunities. Suntory Global Spirits (SGS) offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid work environment (60/40 in office/remote), in a fast-paced CPG minded environment. This is a high visibility role that can positively influence sales and shape/influence business processes to evolve with the industry and/or customer landscape.

Requirements

  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering or Mathematics related program at college or University.
  • 1-5 years’ experience as a CPFR planner/analyst or related role in Demand or Supply Planning.
  • 15% - Limited travel required. When required generally would be to meet with customer and/or to travel to corporate head office event.

Nice To Haves

  • Beverage Alcohol experience an asset
  • Supply Chain certification such as CSCP or CPIM would be an asset.
  • Logistics – basic understanding of modes of transportation (Ocean – LCL/FCL, Intermodal, OTR – LTL/FTL, Airfreight) and challenges associated with the delivering goods to market is not a must but would be an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Be proficient with shaping and interpreting data to drive business insight, gaining alignment with internal and external stakeholders and taking proactive steps to support the delivery of monthly/quarterly and annual sales objectives while respecting customer policy.
  • Have a high degree of integrity and tenacity to do what’s right for business stakeholders, while maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Be comfortable with making decisions/recommendations and/or acting on 80% of the information available and course correcting as required.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to effectively track, follow up and deliver actions to full completion in a fast faced environment.
  • Collaborate with SGS/Customer stakeholders to develop/evaluate a rolling consumption forecast.
  • Monitor customer inventory levels versus inventory targets and/or consumption patterns to proactively identify stock deficiencies and/or excess inventory levels for internal/external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with customers and SGS internal stakeholders to continuously improve the end-to-end replenishment process.
  • Responsible for the development/creation and communication various S&OP reports to support business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with SGS internal stakeholders to champion the voice of the customer within the NA Supply Chain organization.
  • Support and/or lead ad hoc projects and analysis as requested.
