About The Position

This role focuses on AWS strategic customers' private pricing billing processes and systems. The Sales Operations III will serve as a strategic partner to sales leaders by designing scalable processes and implementing go-to-market strategies. The position requires expertise in AWS private pricing structures, discount models, contract types, and billing logic to manage complex escalations, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with financial reporting. Responsibilities include leading mission-critical cross-team projects, collaborating with engineering on automation initiatives, and driving the evolution of operational tools and applications. The role involves extracting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets, building automated dashboards and reports, and applying SQL, Python, and Excel VBA to streamline reporting. Additionally, the position requires performing root cause analysis, translating private pricing contracts into structured requirements, developing automation workflows, and applying statistical analysis to forecast deal cycles and revenue impact. Communication with stakeholders at all levels, delivering actionable insights, and balancing competing priorities with autonomy are key. The role also involves defining and implementing operational policies, partnering with various teams, and supporting leadership through ad-hoc analytics and team development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to a Bachelor's degree and three years of experience.
  • One year of proficiency in SQL, Python, and advanced Excel for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Experience in BI tools such as Power BI, or AWS QuickSight.
  • Ability to identify gaps, streamline processes, and implement automation to improve operational efficiency.
  • Communicating and partnering with Sales, Legal, Pricing, and Business Practices teams.
  • Working with automation frameworks and ensuring compliance within operational processes and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple functions across Sales Operations with a focus on AWS strategic customers’ private pricing billing processes and systems.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to sales leaders by designing scalable “incubate to automate” processes and implementing go-to-market strategies.
  • Utilize expertise in AWS private pricing structures, discount models, contract types, and billing logic to manage complex escalations, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with financial reporting.
  • Lead mission-critical cross-team projects, collaborate with engineering on automation initiatives, and drive the evolution of operational tools and applications.
  • Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from Excel, CLM, and BI tools.
  • Build automated dashboards and reports in Excel, Power Query, and BI platforms to monitor KPIs.
  • Apply SQL, Python, and Excel VBA to streamline reporting and reduce manual effort.
  • Perform root cause analysis on billing and contract data.
  • Translate Private Pricing Contracts into structured requirements for billing systems.
  • Develop automation workflows to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Apply statistical and trend analysis to forecast deal cycles and revenue impact.
  • Communicate with business and technical stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deliver actionable insights through data modeling and forecasting.
  • Balance competing priorities with autonomy and strategic thinking.
  • Define and implement operational policies for territory planning, quota setting, and revenue management.
  • Partner with Sales, Legal, and Pricing to deliver data-driven insights.
  • Support leadership through ad-hoc analytics, scenario modeling, executive reporting, and team development.
  • Continuously improve systems and enhance customer experience.
