About The Position

Support daily business operations by executing warehouse processes, assisting customers, and contributing to inside sales activities. Build foundational knowledge across operations, product lines, and customer engagement to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment. Play a key role in enhancing customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness through cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4+ years of sales, operations, or related experience.
  • Ability to learn and apply product information to assist customers and support sales; critical for accurate recommendations and service.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers; essential for delivering a positive and consistent customer experience.
  • Capability to accurately process orders and manage inventory; important for minimizing errors and ensuring order accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively interact with customers and cross-functional teams; supports collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Understanding of warehouse and order fulfillment processes; necessary to contribute to efficient daily operations.
  • Proficiency in order entry and inventory systems; required for processing transactions and tracking orders.
  • Willingness and ability to learn multiple functional areas; important for development and supporting evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and perform core warehouse functions including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
  • Handle inventory activities such as stocking, organizing, and assisting with cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
  • Assist customers at the counter with order placement, product selection, and service-related inquiries.
  • Provide prompt, professional, and solution-oriented customer service aligned with company standards.
  • Support inside sales activities by preparing quotes and entering customer orders into systems.
  • Track and follow up on customer orders, quotes, and service requests to ensure timely completion.
  • Develop working knowledge of product lines and applications to effectively support customers and team members.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate order processing and fulfillment.
  • Communicate order discrepancies, inventory issues, or customer concerns to appropriate teams for resolution.
  • Maintain organized workspaces in both warehouse and customer-facing areas to support efficiency and safety.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards in all operational activities.
  • Continuously build skills across operations, sales support, and customer service functions to increase effectiveness.
  • Other duties as assigned.
