About The Position

Internally known as the Sales Effectiveness Analyst, this role is responsible for providing operational, analytical, and administrative support for sales systems, reporting, data management, and sales processes. This involves maintaining Salesforce, producing performance reporting, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting day-to-day sales operations activities. The primary objective is to enable sales leadership and field teams to operate efficiently and make informed business decisions that support organizational goals and sales performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Sales Operations, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
  • 2–4 years of experience in sales operations, sales analytics, CRM administration, business analysis, or a related support function
  • Working knowledge of sales operations, CRM administration, sales reporting, and pipeline management.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics, KPIs, forecasting, lead management, and territory administration.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality management, and reporting best practices.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com administration and reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications, workflow automation, and system integrations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly to business stakeholders.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to support end users effectively.
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently on routine assignments while operating under direction from a supervisor.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting a field sales organization and working with CRM or sales technology platforms preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence/reporting tools preferred.
  • SQL, Smartsheet integration, or reporting automation experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support sales technology platforms by maintaining Salesforce data, dashboards, reports, user access, and system documentation while assisting with testing, troubleshooting, and user support activities.
  • Prepare recurring sales reports and business intelligence by gathering, organizing, validating, and distributing sales performance data, dashboards, and scorecards for leadership and field teams.
  • Support data quality and governance efforts by monitoring sales data, identifying inconsistencies, researching discrepancies, and coordinating corrective actions across systems.
  • Compile performance metrics and strategic reporting by producing monthly WIG reporting, scoreboards, KPI summaries, and category performance analyses that support leadership reviews and planning discussions.
  • Execute lead management and pipeline support activities by maintaining opportunity records, monitoring lead-assignment workflows, supporting conversion-tracking programs, and ensuring data is current and complete within Salesforce.
  • Maintain territory and account assignment data by updating territory maps, account ownership records, and related sales coverage information as directed by leadership.
  • Provide operational and administrative support for sales initiatives by coordinating logistics, gathering data, preparing reports and presentations, supporting travel arrangements, and assisting with the execution of market blitzes, meetings, and program rollouts.
  • Deliver end-user support and operational coordination by responding to system questions, assisting with Salesforce Office Hours, documenting business requirements, testing enhancements, and coordinating with sales leaders, enablement partners, and Salesforce administrators.
