About The Position

This role is responsible for managing the sales operation process, including scheduling, chassis management, order processing, and client communication. The Sales Operation Manager will also play a key role in developing business strategies, monitoring competitors, and building strong customer relationships to maintain the ARBOC brand image. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and involves significant physical activity.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of bus manufacturing or transit industry would be considered an asset.
  • This position is very active and requires standing, walking or sitting all day.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move items over 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Handle the Schedule Process based on established guidelines. Produce and distribute schedules to all parties involved.
  • Chassis Management: Order and Purchase chassis and release chassis pool thru GM/Ford.
  • Ensure that all client’s questions have been answered as fully as possible, to ensure that ARBOC has given itself the best possible chance of success.
  • Assist the Bid Administrator and Outside Sales personnel.
  • Receive and review all order forms and start the Sales Order Flow process
  • Organize Pre-build and post-build meetings
  • Hold Order communication meetings with the production team
  • Answer production and QA issues
  • Closely observe the strategic moves of the competitors
  • Develop strategies for implementation of business development
  • Build strong customer relationships and retain the brand image of ARBOC
  • Other tasks as assigned
