About The Position

Canterbury Court is a retirement community located in the heart of Buckhead, where we put our hearts into creating a true community. As a faith-based, not-for-profit organization, we reinvest revenue into our community to benefit the residents and staff. We are Atlanta’s first Life Plan Community (LPC) – what some call a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). Canterbury Court is looking for a Sales Office Assistant to join our family. The Sales Office Assistant position is in the Sales & Marketing division of our Life Plan Community (LPC). We invite you to experience Canterbury Court.

Requirements

  • College degree or comparable work-related experience in an office setting with customer interaction.
  • Ability to read and write correctly.
  • Requires the ability to hear, read, and write in English.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
  • Must be proficient in customer relationship management systems.
  • Must be able to learn new software packages, understand reporting functions, and maintain clean data
  • Must possess strong communication skills, the ability to compose written correspondence, communicate clearly and professionally verbally, and edit documents.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple jobs responsibly and effectively.
  • Must be able to remain calm under stress.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions and directions.
  • Ability to hear and respond to loudspeaker pages.
  • May not be a resident of Canterbury Court.
  • Ability to operate a variety of automated office machines, including a personal computer and printer, fax machine, and copier.

Nice To Haves

  • Five (5) years of experience in an office setting or senior living preferred.
  • PointClickCare (PCC) experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Exemplifies the Canterbury Court Customer Services Standards.
  • Works interdependently with other teams in a professional and collaborative manner.
  • Answer the marketing phone, route calls to the appropriate person within the department, answer caller questions, etc.
  • Check phone messages and emails regularly and ensure all calls/emails to prospects are returned within 24 hours.
  • Alert the front desk of appointments coming in each morning for the marketing department.
  • Generate reports from CRM as needed and ensure new leads are entered into CRM appropriately before being assigned to sales counselors.
  • Input data appropriately into the billing system to ensure timely reporting and billing.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked sales office.
  • Purchase any office supplies needed through the proper channels.
  • Maintain CRM and EMR systems and check for any reporting errors daily
  • Be the point of contact for all EMR-related questions and data inputs
  • Other duties as assigned.
