About The Position

Coke Florida is hiring a full-time Sales Merchandiser reporting from its Winter Haven location and serving the Wesley Chapel/Lakeland and Winter Haven area. This route-based role works five days per week, starting at 5:00 a.m. and continuing until finish; weekend work is required. The role is predominantly day shift, and the schedule may vary as assigned. Associates are expected to live in or near the listed service areas. The Sales Merchandiser is the primary Coke Florida associate in assigned customer accounts, responsible for stocking, replenishing, merchandising, and ordering products to meet consumer needs. The position builds and maintains displays and equipment placements, manages product and back-stock inventory, provides customer service, and upholds company merchandising and account standards. The work is extremely physical and includes frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, standing, and walking.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Must provide and maintain a personal vehicle for use during working hours.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and current vehicle liability insurance as specified by the company.
Must have a driving record with no major moving violations in the prior three years; driving records, including minor violations, are evaluated under CCBF guidelines.
Ability to operate a manual or powered pallet jack or lift product; certification as required.
Ability to repetitively lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, frequently.
Ability to repetitively push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance while kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending, frequently.
Ability to repetitively push and pull manual transport equipment, such as a pallet jack or hand truck, containing product loads up to a minimum of 100 yards without assistance, frequently.
Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Ability to exert oneself physically over sustained periods to complete job activities.
Ability to read information in small, medium, and large print.
Ability to stand at least 8 hours during the workday, up to 10 hours, and walk at least 4 hours during the workday.
Ability to work frequently in a hot and humid indoor environment.
Ability to use an audio headset to listen to directions in English.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Build and maintain product displays and equipment placements in compliance with company standards.
Maintain appropriate product inventory in beverage sections and throughout accounts, including shelf allocation and cold equipment, to prevent out-of-stocks and minimize trade breakage, damage, and loss.
Place timely and accurate orders according to the ad calendar, adjusting orders based on influencing factors.
Manage back-stock inventory levels and trade breakage in assigned accounts.
Meet customer service expectations through daily communication, problem resolution, and appropriate follow-up.
Maintain professional and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, customers, and shoppers.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels, company assets, and point of sale; ensure accounts meet company merchandising standards.
Face and spin products according to applicable standards.
Determine stores' product needs and place and transmit appropriate orders.
Conduct store surveys.
Communicate account activities, including equipment service needs, to appropriate parties.
Maintain merchandising standards and efficiencies while rotating products in designated accounts.
Organize backroom inventory and maintain cleanliness of equipment, sales floors, and shelves.
Transport, replace, and maintain point-of-sale advertising as appropriate for the account.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance; work assigned overtime, shifts, and schedules.
Comply with company policies, procedures, applicable laws, and dress or appearance standards.
Identify and report unsafe working conditions.
