About The Position

Franz Family Bakery, a successful bakery founded in 1906 in the Pacific Northwest, is seeking a Sales Merchandiser to join their fast-paced team in Omak, Washington. This role is crucial for ensuring Franz customers have the best products on their shelves. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safe, and highly organized, with strong communication skills.

Requirements

• Full-time availability, with the ability to work between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m., weekdays and weekends.
• A solid work history.
• 1+ years of experience in a similar merchandising position.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and perform frequent to constant handling activities.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, math test, physical, and physical capacity test.
• A clean driving record and provision of a current driving abstract from the department of licensing if called for an interview.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and maneuver large bulky racks of product.
• Must be highly organized, fast-paced, and able to effectively communicate with a variety of individuals both inside and outside the organization.
• A proven work history of being reliable, safe, and positive.
• Must uphold the Franz core values.
• This is a union position with Teamsters Local 760.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the bread/bakery/food industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining bakery products in assigned stores, including stocking shelves, rotating outdated products, and facing products.
• Ensuring a neat and orderly appearance of all assigned bakery products.
• Driving a company vehicle to deliver product to customer locations.
• Loading and unloading product in the company-issued vehicle, which includes pushing/pulling racks and trays of bakery products.
• Performing additional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.
