About The Position

The Sales & Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing strategic planning and implementation of business plans tailored to our LATAM Yamaha Distributors. Will follow territory marketing policies, sales programs, campaigns, and distributor/dealer development activities for Yamaha Motor Distribution Latin America, with an exceptional level of customer service. With a focus on driving results, the associate, in conjunction with the Manager, will provide territory sales support and distributor-dealer development activities.

Requirements

  • ADVANCED ABILITY AND EXPERIENCE IN DEVELOPING AND IMPLEMENTING SALES & MARKETING STRATEGIES NECESSARY.
  • BA degree in Marketing, Management or related field Consideration of equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 years or more of experience in Sales & Marketing Land and Marine Motor business or related industries preferred (Spare parts business in Latin America and Caribbean regions is a plus).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (Bi-Lingual English and Spanish).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
  • Advanced Proficiency in MS Office (i.e., Excel, Word, and Power Point).

Responsibilities

  • Execute marketing and sales strategies to achieve company Implement marketing, pricing, sales and service programs or policies with distributors to ensure the effective company rules, standards, values, culture, and benefits.
  • Support with market research and sales forecasting with Gathers and analyze distributor KPI’s information to identify sales opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with our customers in Latin America and Caribbean territories. Work with distributors for dealer-network development: 3S concept, Yamalube sales expansion, Service campaigns, Promotions, Suggested prices, Inventory control, Customer service satisfaction, Yamaha know-how Collaborates and participates in field      promotional activities.
  • Work functionally across Yamaha Motor Distribution Latin America teams to support distributors/dealers’ needs and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate on the development of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports. Keep management informed of key issues in Latin America and Caribbean markets and forward weekly status and other reports as requested. Review renewal of policies – agreements with customers and promotional vendors.
