About The Position

Anderson Environmental Contracting (AEC) is one of the Pacific Northwest's fastest-growing environmental contractors, providing Environmental Remediation, Drilling, Petroleum Construction, Industrial Cleaning, Demolition & Abatement, and Hazardous Waste Services throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and beyond. We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated professional who thrives on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and helping drive company growth. This position combines business development, marketing, proposal support, and social media management into a highly visible role that works directly with executive leadership to help shape the future of AEC. This is not a desk-only marketing position. We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting clients, coordinating and leading industry events, visiting project sites, and actively promoting AEC's capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or related roles.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and industry partners.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Dynamics.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in construction, environmental/industrial services, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with government contracting and procurement processes.
  • Experience managing social media and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn marketing, SEO, and lead generation strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with public and private sector clients.
  • Identify and pursue new project opportunities.
  • Coordinate meetings, presentations, and networking activities with prospective and existing clients.
  • Assist in developing strategic growth plans for each AEC service line.
  • Track opportunities and maintain accurate CRM records.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, association meetings, and networking events.
  • Support client retention efforts and identify opportunities for expanded services.
  • Manage and implement AEC's marketing initiatives and annual marketing plan.
  • Coordinate development of brochures, capability statements, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Maintain consistency of the AEC brand across all platforms and communications.
  • Work closely with operational teams to develop project success stories and client testimonials.
  • Coordinate photography, video content, and project documentation.
  • Assist with qualifications packages, RFQs, RFPs, and proposal submissions.
  • Maintain project resumes, case studies, and qualification databases.
  • Support teaming efforts and strategic partnerships.
  • Coordinate proposal content and marketing materials required for project pursuits.
  • Monitor upcoming project opportunities and market trends.
  • Research potential clients and emerging markets.
  • Identify opportunities for geographic expansion and service diversification.
  • Provide regular reporting on sales, marketing, and business development activities.
