About The Position

TruStone is looking to hire a Sales & Marketing Specialist to join our team! We are actively seeking candidates to fill a current, open position. The Sales and Marketing Specialist role is a full-time position requiring teamwork and attention to detail. The objective of this role is to provide our advisors with quotes, product support, educational opportunities, and marketing strategies to expand their business practices. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team and independently in their role, with a desire to learn and develop their skills. About us TruStone Financial Inc. (TSF), is redefining an industry by providing independent financial advisors exceptional service and developing meaningful relationships. We are an MGA (Managing General Agent), an intermediary contracted by insurers to operate on their behalf to facilitate sales and support of life and health insurance and investment products by independent, contracted and licensed insurance advisors. Requirements

Minimum of a High School Diploma required
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills required
Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to supporting advisors with professionalism and care.
Strong attention to detail/accuracy
Ability to work well independently and as team member
Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite required

Nice To Haves

Post Secondary degree in a related field preferred
Knowledge of insurance or investments an asset

Responsibilities

Provide quotes, new business and inforce illustrations using a variety of software programs including but not limited to: LifeGuide, Carrier Illustration Software, Cannex, Life Design Analysis.
Be well versed in the life and living benefits insurance products offered from all carriers TSF holds a contract with.
Train our advisors and their admin staff on our back-office portal, WealthServ, in addition to our carrier portals and TSF digital resources.
Help advisors obtain CE Credits.
Support the onboarding process for new advisors - including sending welcome communications, providing system access information, and offering guidance on internal processes as needed.
Generate reports using Excel and ensure accurate tracking of campaign performance and advisor reward metrics.
Work independently and as a team on a variety of sales initiatives and projects to expand the sales and marketing department and boost production.
